The walls are thin in the apartments and I could hear my neighbors clearly. My downstairs neighbors dog pooped all over their patio and it reeked. A neighbor would open all of our cars in the parking lot and steal from us which was so weird, I had to get a security camera on the balcony. The floors make alot of noise when you walk on them, they need to be replaced. I also did love this apartment though. This was my first apartment and the application/moving in process was very quick & everyone was extremely kind, the property and location are very beautiful! Loved that I could go for a walk in the neighborhood and enjoy the view of the mountain and see all the flowers and cactus & orange trees the neighbors had <3 The pool is also nice, there’s cute colorful birds that live in the trees s
One time, my AC broke at 11pm on a Saturday in the summer. I called in a maintenance request, and 20 minutes later a worker came to my front door and provided me with a portable AC unit for my home and set it up for me so I would be able to sleep comfortably while they fix it over the weekend. Stellar service, I didn't expect a response that fast, or even the call to get picked up on the weekend. For my first apartment ever, the apartments are pretty clean, and the staff are great! I've been here for about 3 years so far with no major issues! Also a very pet friendly place, so great if you have those. The have some fun apartment events as well depending on the holiday. Reasonably priced as well (for Arizona)!
What can I say it was nothing but a pleasure living here. The beautiful naturistic landscape of the building gives off a calming energy that makes you forget you are even living in arizona. Any and all issues that I had at my apartment were answered at the touch of a button with intelligent thoughtful handymen who took great pride in their work. The management office was tough but fair and very lenient when they had the opportunity to be. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place to call home and would give them the peace of mind to know you, your belongings, and your friends and family will be safe at Rancho Ladera. Edit: video is my move out video apartment had not been yet professionally cleaned.
Updated 2/20/25 Please read: Don't live here! They tow your car without warning with your parking pass in the window. The towing company was more apologetic about towing my car with a paid parking pass in it than the staff that works at the apartments. Bathrooms are not vented to the for outside. I still can't get a service request to fix these things. I no longer use the fitness room because of multiple interruptions during my workout to make small talk. Needing to remove earbuds each time. We had a fire extinguisher inspection. There was $150 penalty for not complying. I never had a fire extinguisher and I still don't have one. When coming to my door for a home inspection, I answered and asked them to wait one moment before coming in. Instead, they came in immediately, Ignoring my r
My yearlong stay in apartment 1078 had some positives, primarily the location, but was largely overshadowed by significant issues with property maintenance, unit quality, and parking. While advertised or perceived as potentially upscale, this complex does not live up to any "luxury" standard. The Positives: Location: The apartment complex is situated in a fantastic location. Community Feel: Generally, the community is quiet, I witnessed no crime during my stay, and the neighbors I interacted with were pleasant. Rent: The rent was $1550 per month for a 781 sq ft one-bedroom unit, which might be considered reasonable for the area, depending on market conditions. Leasing Staff (Mostly): Most interactions with the leasing staff were positive. The Negatives: Community Maintenance & Upkeep: T
