Rancho Del Mar Apartments

I move around all the time so talking to someone so kind and helpful really makes it easier for me. I spoke with Angelina and she was amazing!! She’s patient and funny, definitely made my experience worth remembering. I don’t know when I’ll be ready to move and will definitely be reaching out to her when I’m ready.

Ive lived here for over 5 years. I loved Valerie and Diane. Diane was always prompt when dealing with any issue that I had. The maintenance men are also courteous and efficient . They now have new management. I am hoping to have the same experience with new management and a pleasant outcome. Im updating this review based on the new management, Heather, who is the property manager now is a great addition here. She is making many improvements. Replies promptly and is very sweet. .

I love the location of Rancho Del Mar. It’s surrounded by great hiking trails, and I can take a quick 10 minute walk from my apartment to watch the sunset. Such a refreshing change from city life.

I have never had to write a review like this. It was all good until Diane left. She was handling my move out process and she took another job. They were supposed to come and assess “damage” that was done while we lived on the property and never did (so I could fix it). I logged into my account to see that I owed 4100 dollars…. I couldn’t even see the breakdown of what they were charging for so I called and they are in the process of remolding apartments and are trying to do it on my dime. They claimed my vinyl flooring and carpets needed replacing when every day I was vacuuming my floors and once a week I was shampooing them. So they didn’t need to replace them. I now have taken it to another level because they failed at my move out process and I will be fighting this. I recommend to not

I really liked the apartments, the people there are great! I talked to Heather and she was very understanding why I wasn't able to get the apartment, it was short notice that my husband and I got approved, and we already got another apartment lined up! Wish we got approved more quickly though, definitely would have been our first choice!
