A nightmare scenario for our family moving into a home that Rancho Coastal Properties manages. Their focus seems to be on savings over their clients. Immediately upon moving in I found mold after I looked under the kitchen sink. RCP said that they were unable to see it because we had a box in front of the cabinet. They had months to address the rotted floor under the kitchen sink while they were renovating the house, but chose to leave it. Impossible to believe that it wasn't "discovered" prior to our move-in given all of the work throughout the house and kitchen and that the rotted wood was directly under the kitchen sink. Mike Daniels is one of the good ones. Often times, transactions can become adversarial, unnecessarily so. It is always refreshing to work with an agent who is highly communicative and works towards a common solution that works for all sides. While he certainly upheld his fiduciary, He also worked towards the common goal, which is just as helpful to his clients.
