R. Scott Dugan Appraisal Company

Appraiser Scott Dugan was recommended by my realtor to perform an appraisal of The Lazy River Villa (a unique LV property in Southern Highlands). The thought was that if anyone could appreciate the unique attributes and value inherent in this 1.3 acre property, he would given his years of experience in the valley. However, not only did Scott low-ball the property, he did not give any additional consideration to the lazy river feature over a standard backyard pool. When questioned, he offered to refund the $1500 paid for his opinion if the property sold for anything over his assessed value. To date, I am still waiting for him to be a man of his word since it did sell for a greater sum. In my own opinion, Scott is unprofessional, a liar, and full of himself.
