Quincy Commons

It has been a year already and I love living here at Quincy Commons! I have to say it was one of the BEST moves I made for myself. I had lived in an apartment for 32 years in the South End. I have had a year of peace and quiet, a parking space, no searching for parking, heat/hot water and gas, laundry in the building beautiful landscaping that is groomed beautifully, a pool, elevator in the building. It's very diverse and my neighbors are so friendly. I love the area and it is safe, beautiful sunrises and sunsets at Wollaston beach two blocks away and a great boardwalk to have great walks. I love seafood and there are great restaurants and the Red Line, T, North Quincy only 4 Stops to South Station. I have been truly BLESSED with this move! Hmmm honestly in 2019 I was living on Gardner rd in quincy. Driving my ebike on wallaston beach ,I looked up and said "God" It would be so nice to live around here.flash foreword to this evening 7/7/2025 6 yrs later ( I'm coming up going into the start of my 3rd yr here.in those little 2 full yrs I've been here i was first and foremost blessed. because I had no idea ( moved in unseen in person)that it was the same aera that I prayed for 6 yrs earlier. Management, leasing staff,maintenance, and yard work have been outstanding the array of flowers and lawn care are a uplift in the morning walking with my dog Lillie.the neighborhood is very quie & friendly. ,walking distance to every need or want is at your disposal, building neighbor's are mostly all respectful, the wallaston beach is only

The place is DISGUSTING! The majority of the tenants do not work! Needles all over the complex. Rodents - mice - Roaches galore. It’s a very unsafe environment. Constantly witnessing people fighting - verbally and physically. It’s so disappointing. Theft is huge as well and the Leasing office does not care.

8/25/25 update - left the building this morning for work and this giant rat was lying dead right outside the front entrance. Recent 5 star reviews are FAKE. Leasing office sent out 3 emails (two on 8/19 and one on 8/5) promoting a bribe of two $500 gift cards in exchange for a high review. Maintenance takes too long to respond to requests. I’ve been waiting 3+ weeks to have the sink garbage disposal fixed (would not turn on) which makes washing dishes (no dishwasher) very difficult with the sink not draining quickly. Management keeps giving stupid excuses as to why it’s taking so long - yet they have no problem with maintenance supervising outside contractors on unnecessary exterior building repairs. My experience working with Quincy Commons was a great experience. The leasing agent James Simmon who I had the pleasure to work with was clear in his explanation of things. He answered my questions and kept me informed of everything I needed to know and do through my application process.
