Providence Gardens

I come here with my emotional support dog. Every time I wait inside, the people make me out to be unwelcomed. Not sure what their judgement is, but one lady sitting in lobby with a group of other residence, (I presume), has one nasty foul mouth when she accused me of opening door and keeping it open! I was outside talking to the tenant on the ground intercom with a broken toe and in much pain, the next thing I know this crabby, fouled mouth female, (won't call her a "lady"), is YELLING at me about the door that my back was to it as I had not planned to COME IN, BUT SOMEONE WHO LIVED THERE MUST OF ENTER OR EXITED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, NOR WAS IT MY JOB TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR ANYONE. Tonight, is very cold, and I am a DISABLED, 64-yo LADY WITH THE MULTIPLE MEDICAL PROBLEMS THAT THE COLD S

3 stars because I've lived here 24 out of 25 good years. This year we had one elevator for 200 apartments, lasted two months. They turned the heat on a week ago, mid-December. And it's been a COLD December. For several weeks I have only had hot water. Since no one else has this problem, they ignore me. It is scary getting into the shower. Washing dishes is tricky. I get a butt sauna from the toilet water. So sick of this Redwood communities and manager Raymond.

People and management are kind and the apartments and cozy also very comfortable for my elderly grandma there but in my opinion they could work to improve the heating and do an even better job on cleaning

A perfect senior living home to help seniors become independent and self sufficent with the help of there inhome care provider and the assistanced of there wonderful management team, and the maintence crew, and there 24hr staff, and the wonderful activities director. I gave Providence Garden a 5 star rating because of its location and city. And how there able to keep all there senior citizen tenants safe happy and well informed on whats goes on in the city of long beach. Good Job P.G
