Providence Court Apt/McKay Apartments

Made an appointment to see the 2 bedroom apartment. Mgr, Meghan, super nice. Apartment was lovely!! Everything clean and fresh! Also Grounds were well kept. I am leaving where I am at now in December so I put my name in to be notified when a 2 bedroom unit becomes available for later Fall.

We were supposed to tour and the rental agent didn't show up. However, the sample units are just unlocked go look around! They were very dated but clean seeming and affordable. Being ghosted by the agent when we had an appointment, plus the overall dated features (we were hoping to see an actual apartment and see if they were more updated) was enough to rule it out. The parking is also quite tight. But I suppose it's priced appropriate for what it is.

Nice apartments reasonably well kept. They are on top of snow removal. Issues with heater not working, a resident I know has to rely on a space heater. Locks on doors not particularly impressive. They use a door jam at night. Decent laundry facilities in basement. Not every apartment has a dishwasher.

First place my wife and I lived after getting married, it was a wonderful experience. Best thing about this place is the maintenance crew, they always went above and beyond to help us if something went wrong, if we had a question, or if we just needed a small tool to borrow. Price is unbeatable for the area it's in, 5-10 minute walk to downtown Media, close to Ridley Creek State Park, just a great place to be. Yes, kids are playing outside during the summer months but we never had any issues with there being too much noise. Never heard a peep from any neighbors.

Was told that a one bedroom was available and that it was being held for me while my application was going through. I called at least 5-6 times to make sure the apartment was being held for me and then turns out they lied and were in the process of signing it to someone else. Then I was told by the manager that they don't hold apartments after I was told at least 6 times that it was in fact being held for me. It's a shame
