President Madison Apartments

I lived here for 5 years and after touring literally dozens of other complexes in the city, I can honestly say this is one of the best. The building is well-maintained and every member of staff and maintenance that I met was kind, professional, and responsive. I had a few standard issue problems in my 5 years here (microwave died, kitchen light flickering, chain in my toilet broke) - they were all fixed same day. Years ago, I accidentally dropped a solid gold necklace down my sink drain in the evening as I was getting ready. A maintenance team member was there that evening to retrieve it for me! This building may not have bells and whistles or flashy amenities, but they offer excellent value for safe, well-maintained homes in a classic building, as well as great management in a very prime

Not a fan of this building. The good thing is that the front office staff were very responsive and helpful when you needed them. They also gave me my entire security deposit back. Unfortunately, it is very expensive to live here. My rent for a one bedroom was $2,289 plus a $150 per month “air conditioning” fee. The air conditioning fee is mandatory and you have to pay it all year. I believe the air conditioning fee is variable based on how much they want to charge for the apartment because they are a trying to get around rent control laws. The internet is bad in this building. See my photo of the exposed wires. If it rained my internet would cut in and out or get too slow to be functional. Also the garbage closets are unvented and not air conditioned so they stink up the common hallways

Mostafa was a huge help to me when I had a maintenance issue! He drove over right away right before a big snow storm was about to hit and fixed my issue promptly and with care. Thanks so much Mostafa!!!!

I loved living at the President Madison - Lauren (the property manager) is amazing! She is so nice and easy to work with, can’t recommend this building enough!!

I lived in a different Bernstein property before moving to President Madison. After having a great experience there I wanted to stay with the company for my next move. President Madison is a great place to live (clean, great location) and the staff on site are great!
