I had an extremely disappointing experience with Premier Home Settlement and VKM Title, LLC, during the purchase of a property in York, PA. Their lack of thoroughness and professionalism in conducting the title search resulted in significant financial consequences for me. They missed two critical liens that were publicly filed. Because of their negligence, I had to pay a significant amount of money after the purchase to avoid a sheriff's sale--both of these liens should have been caught during the title search. On top of this, I incurred substantial legal and research fees trying to resolve the issue. Even worse, I discovered they were aware of these liens but failed to communicate or take responsibility.
