Curtis Trousdale recently sold our land in Topsham, Vermont for us. From start to finish he was professional, provided good advice based on a knowledge of the market, experience - and in particular a deep knowledge of rural land and its uses. I was impressed at the effort he put in, accompanying potential buyers over our remote, hilly terrain. His communications were clear, timely, and appropriate. I feel very fortunate to have had this opportunity to work with him and feel that we are the beneficiaries of a man who knows his business.

Just closed on my second transaction with PP. Chip stayed with me every step of the way and worked through all of the intricacies with a positive and vigorous resolve to see it through. Communication from Chip was top notch even to the point of returning my call from atop a woodpile in northern Maine to discuss our transaction (only place he could get service). We bought our first house with Preferred Properties several years ago, and then just sold the house. Barb and her team helped us purchase a home in 2014 and 2018. She sold our first home and my fathers home after he passed. They are an incredible team and put all they have into finding you the perfect house for you, and walking you through the entire process. It’s a daunting process to buy and/or sell but with Barb and her team it’s a lot less stressful! We will only ever use Preferred Properties as our realtors!

I am so pleased to say that I recently worked with Barb at Preferred Properties to both sell my home and buy a multi family property in Burlington Vermont. She was amazing and handled so many curve balls due to Covid (such as Appraisers not being able to enter the home or fire marshals not being able to inspect) with grace and success. I still can't believe she made it all work! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the financing side and the things to look for during home inspections (didn't leave my side for the 4 hour inspection) and the real estate market as a whole.
