Please, if you have a choice, do not use Gerald Long and Precision Appraisal for your home appraisal needs. The comps he used for our home were not even close to our actual home driving our value way down. We reached out for some more help, as his appraisal was very confusing, and found another professional who helped us find a couple more comps for our home locally. We submitted them back to the bank and contested Gerald's appraisal but he came back with zero adjustment undervaluing our home by nearly 30k. We waited 4 weeks for the appraisal, had unfair comps listed and got brushed off in the end. Absolutely terrible company and service and should not be allowed to practice.

If you have a choice for a home appraisal... CAUTION: do NOT use Gerald Long and Precision Appraisal for your home appraisal needs. The comps he used for our home were not even a little bit close to our actual home - according to our appraisal it looks like it LOST value - driving our value down to almost nothing. The appraisal was incredibly confusing and did not make any coherent sense.. where he came up with his numbers is beyond us. We are HOPING to find another professional who can help us with a new appraisal. When the appraiser comes in a complains about the amount of work he has to do for 20 plus minutes after spending maybe 10 mins doing the actual appraisal of the house... we should have know. Unprofessional company and service - definitely should not be allowed to practice
