Prairie Meadows Apartments I, II, & III

I have been living at Prairie Meadows Apartments for approximately 3 and a half years. I was on line reading the reviews and felt I needed to share my experience living at Prairie Meadows. I love the security that is provided, plenty of lights. Any time I have a maintenance request, the maintenance staff does the work within the 3 day time frame they give us. There is one thing however, I particularly wish would change. That is, the increase in rent at the annual review. I don't know if the state mandates the owner to take the rent up every year, or not. But, it would be nice to not have your rent go up every year. Overall, this is a beautiful place to live and very quiet.

Building 1 isn’t allowed to put up Christmas decorations when the other two buildings are?!?!!! There’s one broken down tree shoved to the back of the community room, and half it’s light are out. Way to ruin the holiday season for a bunch of sweet elderly people. I don’t know how people live with themselves when they are cruel to others. TREAT OUR SENIORS WITH THE RESPECT THEY DESERVE.

After our father had passed, our mother stayed at prairie Meadows until her passing in November of 23. Had to pay 60 days. Proceeding her death for rent. They do their walk through early like a month early. Now they want us to pay for carpet replacement, blind replacement amongst other things after they had lived there for 20 years. I believe the company that owns it is truly out to screw over elderly people. When they needed something done there it was a large process to do. And if you needed to do something for them they wanted it done that day. Our mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and given a short time to live to where I was staying with her and paying extra for staying there to help take care of her and all of a sudden it became a problem and asked me to leave short time later she p

This complex is beautiful management is uncaring after having 2 life threatening surgeries they asked me to leave said they just don't want me there , my surgeon and Dr wrote the owners saying it would be detrimental to me and healing if they don't have a reason please give her an extension . A letter came back from the owners if you can't move hire movers. They put a lot of lives on the line and seem to not care for section 8 or low income housing.

Great place to live for seniors. My grandma lives there
