Plaza Del Real Apartments

I lived here from may 2018 to April 2022 and i really liked it. This was my first apartment, living in a loft. Laurie was very attentive and helped out when ever I had an issue. Pool was always clean and the neighbors were very nice for the most part. No assigned parking but there was always enough space. I got most of my deposit back as I was there for more than 3 years so I didn't have to pay for a new paint job. I always kept my place clean, and thoroughly cleaned it on move out, and i didn't get charged for cleaning fees. Over great first renting experience.

I lived at these apartments for 19 months and I loved it. I first lived in the loft and it was lovely. The high ceilings gave it a fresh feeling and the windows brought in plenty of light which I really enjoyed. This place has plenty of storage underneath the stairs. I then moved into a two bedroom and I was blessed to have had an upgraded new white kitchen with beautiful countertops. The bathroom matched too. The carpet looked new. In both places the apartments were very clean. The ceiling fans looked new and the ac worked perfectly. In both places I received my apartment with a fresh coat of painting. Highly recommend living here, location is perfect if you want to commute to CSUB or go downtown or visit local shopping centers. Its a perfect place for anyone starting their independence and living on their own for the first time. The complex is very clean and security is walking around after hours to ensure safety. I really enjoy living here :) Lori the manager is very friendly and makes you feel at home from the very beginning. If a maintenance request is submitted it is quickly followed up on and a 24 hour notice is always provided beforehand.

Let me start off by saying this was my first apartment experience and I should have never moved in here. I lived here for over a year and had to deal with so many negatives. To start when I first moved in the carpet of my loft was disgusting. You could see they just had it steamed but not changed because the stains started coming up soon after walking on it. Big dark stains! Things in the apartment slowly started breaking or messing up. The circulation of the AC is horrid, it stays super hot in there and the AC was horribly loud! Almost like a water cooler. The blinds were those cheap blinds that fall apart as soon as you open them. The shower doors stopped sliding open! The toilet broke on me multiple times. I had to deal with neighbors fighting. One night there was two girls fist fight

HORRIBLE AND RUDE MANAGER Me and my husband went looking for either a loft or one bed waited bc there was a couple there already then were told to wait bc another man was waiting we waited about a minute then headed inside bc it was hot, im 7 months pregnant, ITS HOT TOO and it should be first come first serve. We fill out the card she takes us to tour then he shows up. She then ask what he looking for he says 2 bed she then proceeds to have him join us along the tour and completely ignores us rhe remaining time. She rushes the loft she showed us didn't talk to us and was so so rude walKing super fast in the heat as well when I am obviously very much pregnant as well. We didn't even rake an application such gross unprofessional behavior my mom was a real estate agent and would be digusted
