Plaza Apartments

DONT MOVE HERE! They claim the apartments are updated, and I was shown an updated apartment. The paint on the cabinets and the new vinyl on the floor are the only updates. I saw several living roaches, and the maintenance told me they have a pest issue. Actual renters coming out of their apartments asked if I was trying to move in and warned me: Maintenance request take weeks, pest such as roaches, mold in some apartments, and the apartments are not insulated as you can feel the draft from the windows. Needless to say, if I was homeless, I would sleep in the woods instead of moving here.

This place didn't even deserve 1 star. Only reason it did give 1 is because of the reasonable rent. My husband and I lived here for 5 years and it was just a horrible experience. They do not respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, I had complained numerous times about the mold from a neighbors leak that trickled into our apartment. I called about pest control they came a month later, we had to set glue traps and fumigate ourselves. There was a whole in the floor that went out to the outside storage closet that i had asked them to fix. Which never happened..When we moved out they tried to charge us for a rug that legally is supposed to be changed out ever 5 years. Yes it was soiled from wear. My girlfriend and I lived there from November 15-november 16 and at first it seemed alright.. then it rained and our ceiling in the kitchen leaked really bad.. despite how many times we called they never fixed it and had to sit bowls and towels out every time it rained.. mold grew in our cabinets and all the maintenance guy did was spray bleach water in there to get rid of the mold that could actually be seen but it would happen every time it rained.. then it was an animal behind the wall and when the warm weather came along so did the roaches and spiders.. they have an infestation in the building we were living in and I'd never recommend these apartments to anyone.. the day we moved was the best day ever! I don't miss plaza apartments at all! Will not recommend!

One of the best apartment complexes that I ever lived in. I lived here for a Year and a half prior to Schrader Properties acquisition and my experience was great. Its a small complex that is located less than 10 minutes from Shops and a Movie Theater. Its quiet and the neighbors are nice. Under Drucker & Falk, they kept the property up including landscaping. The apartments are old, but sturdy and the maintenance team were quick with getting the requests done. Now that its been taking over by Schrader Properties, its about to go downhill.
