Pinehurst Apartments

I can't say enough good things about my move-in experience. I was so impressed with the level of service we received from the leasing team. Maurnee was a huge help from the very beginning, and Kyra went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my move-in day. She was so organized, answered all of my questions, and made me feel truly welcome. It's so clear that the staff genuinely cares, and it has made me very happy with my decision to live here. Maintenance person was fast to arrive, resolved issue fully and quickly for the first issue (washing machine.) Made suggestions as to how to improve situation for the second issue (AC not cooling bedroom very well at all even with all other vents closed) which apparently cannot be fixed. Suggestions (open a few other vents a little bit) hasn't helped at all. Very unfortunate to have to sleep in a hot bedroom that is 6-8 degrees warmer than rest of apartment at all times. We have two fans going in bedroom to provide cross breeze, but still the temp is so much higher than rest of apartment. Would really love if this could be fixed. Unless you like being exploited by a greedy corporation, I would not recommend living here. I paid my rent and media fee two days early (which were the two things showing on my account that I owed) and brought my account balance to zero. Then, two days later they posted another (optional) fee to my account. Instead of applying my payment to what I actually paid for in the first place (my rent and media fee), they took a portion and applied it to my optional fee, leaving me a "balance" on my rent and media fee, even though I directly paid for those in the first place. Now, I have been charged a $115 "late fee" (on a $14.95 optional charge) because they chose where they wanted to apply my payment to instead of applying it to what I actually paid for. The maintenance team is really awesome. Just recently my garage door was not fully closing. I was driving by the office, so I went in to the office to let the staff know and put in a request and there was the maintenance man! I explained the problem, he told me he'd take a look and fix it. I came back home about 15 minutes later and the door was fixed!! The maintenance team are on top of their game. My family and I really love living here!
