Pine Point

I currently live here. I've lived over in Brookview, Indian Church Rd. in the past. I'm much happier with the neighbor situation here, over the past 6 months vs. living at Brookview. Everyone is friendly, without being nosy. The only thing I hear as far as the walls, is my neighbor go outside to take his dog out, which isn't bothersome at all. It's very quiet otherwise. Sean in maintenance was needed at one point & he came within a timely manner. He's friendly. They probably could have someone in the main office answering the phone more regularly & timely but no one seems to answer the phones regularly in any business that I know of. I am happy here.

I have lived at this complex for 4 years. No one is ever in the office to speak with about an emergency. Maintenance is very unprofessional and doesn't fix repairs properly, he's very great at patchwork. My lease is not being renewed for reasons I don't know, they claim I didn't pass a credit check nor did my cosigner. Lies just to get me out of my apartment. But I don't care because I live in situations that have not been great. The only thing worth paying for is the school district. Paper thin walls, loud neighbors, people moving in and out all the time, plow company is nonexistent, front entrance during snowy weather is unsafe to enter an exit onto the busy highway, appliances are very old and barely work, spider webs the outside of the complex is not properly taken care of dirty trash

Met with “Sean” to view an apartment. He showed up 8 minutes late to our appointment and didn’t even bother to apologize. Forgot to bring keys to the apartment we came to view so he offered to show us another unit. Immediately upon entering the apartment it smelled like garbage. Shower heads were loosely shaking in the inlets. We noticed a broken tile and when pointing it out his response was “yea” they clearly have no intention of replacing damages even to units that are “ready” for rent. During the showing he spent a lot of energy trying to pressure us to submit an application. Huge waste of our time. Dirty Overpriced units with extremely outdated appliances. Rude agent with a cocky demeanor and zero respect for potential tenants.

Called twice before I got a call back. Talked to Lou. Called back the next day with some additional questions as Lou said he would be there. No call back. Called again and told them to please call me and finally got a call back after leaving yet again another message. Not off to a good start. They gave me a price of $1195 for a one bedroom. They said there would be a 15% surcharge to rent for 6 months. After the second conversation with them they said the rent would be $1600. and it would be as-is! Seriously, terrible business. They were rude to me on the phone and the rent is pretty much what they want it to be in that day. After reading all the reviews I can see why they have such a poor reputation. They deserve it:(

There are constantly people moving in and out, and for good reason. These are NOT luxury apartments as they claim. The units are insulated incredibly poorly, so your heat is constantly on (overheating the bedrooms, but not quite keeping the living room warm enough). There is never anyone available on the weekend, if you have an emergency (my A/C was broken for 4 days and no one contacted me back), the emergency number given is disconnected and their handyman doesn't answer his phone half the time. The appliances have rust inside them, and are poorly maintained. The older man who works in the rental office tells a good story but is overly nosey. My unit was not cleaned properly before I moved in, and they "cleaned" the carpets instead of replacing them as I was advised during the showing.
