I recently worked with Joe Lavigne from Pillar to Post for a home inspection on a property I was considering purchasing, and I couldn't be more impressed. Joe was exceptionally thorough, particularly when it came to inspecting the crawl space and examining the small details in the kitchen and bathroom. He took the time to explain everything to us, including what might need attention or improvement. This was incredibly helpful in allowing us to make an informed decision. Literally missed a HOT wire that was very exposed and HOT! Huge safety concern that could have injured a plumber that was down there and myself before my electrician found it. Joe Failed to check my dryer outlet reading and to see that the wire was just cut and left that way. This wire was not even 4ft into the crawl space. I paid nearly $700 for his middle package just to have to spend about half of that on an electrician to come out and fix things that the inspector, Joe, failed to see. Also didn’t see that the oven was missing a complete range cord and that the dishwasher was not even connected (had to be hard wired). All these things would have been great to know (for nearly $700) before closing to be able to get credit for the labor and parts spent on fixing it. Other than this, Joe w

I've had 8 home inspections done with different companies prior to using Pillar To Post. Now that I've seen the difference in care and quality that Joe brought to this inspection, I'd say I was getting terrible home inspections done previously.
