Peters Cartridge Factory Apartments

Peters Cartridge Factory Apartments is a truly unique place to stay, blending history with modern comfort. This beautifully restored property was once a major ammunition manufacturing plant dating back to the 19th century, and you can still feel that rich industrial history throughout the grounds and architecture. We stayed here for 7 days and had a great experience. The apartments are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, preserving the historic character while offering all the modern amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The surroundings are quiet and scenic, making it a perfect place to unwind, yet it’s still conveniently located. If you appreciate history and want a memorable stay that’s different from a typical hotel, this place is absolutely worth it.

I absolutely love living in this community. My fiancé and I lived here for about a year and a half the first time, and when we moved out we missed it so much that we came back 6 months later. The property manager, Ashlei, is the best property manager I’ve ever had. She does an incredible job running this community. She responds to all issues and questions extremely quick and is always so friendly. The maintenance team is also very quick to fix any issues if there are any. We moved back in about a week ago and I’m so glad that we did. The apartments are kind of a blank canvas when you move it so it gives so much room to make it your own.

It has its pros and cons but for the most part is an excellent place to live. Very responsive property management and friendly people. 1 year later: Still impressed! Considering the typical issues with brand new construction paired with renovations of an OLD and derelict structure, there were surprisingly few problems. The owner/property management group is an extremely professional and impressive organization. The property doesn't have the usual feel that so many apartment communities do. Instead of feeling like a resident, at the mercy of a corporate money making monster, and subject to the knowledge and moods of the most recent hired help...PCF Apartments treats you like part of a large cooperative community. Really enjoyed my time living here. The layout was unique and a nice change from the typical cookie cutter new-build apartments. Rent was affordable and didn’t go up much year to year, which was a big plus. Ashlei, was great, super easy to work with and always helpful. Overall, solid experience.
