Perry Hill Apartments

Where do I start? When we first moved to these apartments in 2023, the rent was $1600. The following year they increased said rent to $1800. Did they make any upgrades or improvements to the building or area? No, they did not. Also, they charge based on whether or not a unit has been "renovated." These renovations include... different colored flooring. More lights in the ceiling. Oh, and some units have in-unit washer and dryer. Our unit does not have an in-unit washer or dryer, but hey, they charge us the same as a unit that does all the same. The units that are in the basement are... poor. They are coin operated and seemingly not managed whatsoever beyond collecting their money. And if you have a problem with them? Don't contact the property management. There was a fire in the

I like where we live. The apartment is nice. Two floors, spacious rooms, and a lot of closet space. Two and half baths. Open concept living area/kitchen. Nice little back deck. It’s in Ashford so it’s peaceful. It’s a mostly quiet area. Management is something to be desired. We don’t require much though, so it’s tolerable. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to others, but I’m happy here for now.

Full disclosure I haven't lived here in 32 years, but I can't imagine it's somehow gotten better. The area around it is super nice, woods and (at least in the old days) a nice creek. It was great as a kid to run around, but the apartments themselves were small, and loud neighbors were always an issue.
