Just a small peak into what the $1600+/mo, nothing included, living experience is like living at Ashford Hills. When you move in don’t forget to buy plenty of water because the water is always off without notice. Good luck showering. Save your money, this place is a dump. Clearly the owner and building manager couldn’t care less about the property. They just want to milk it for every penny they can and it shows.

Awful Hygiene: The water gets shut off all the time, and even when it's on it's yellow. It reeks of cigarettes all the time; I've found cigarette butts on the indoor stairwell and INSIDE a washing machine. The trash can and recycling bins are always overflowing. I had horrible sinus issues that immediately improved after I moved out. Delayed Security Deposit: The owner is incredibly unprofessional. After I didn't receive my deposit back, I texted her 6 different times trying to get it back. She told me it was processing, which was a lie. Where do I start? For the amount of money you will pay for a SHOE BOX you’d think at the very least the water would work right? Wrong, the water is always turned off half the time with no warning (good luck taking a shower) when the water is on it is NOT drinkable and this has been a known problem for YEARS, new owner is “renovating” old units to get more money out of the building but the new units are unfinished and redone so poorly (we’re talking outlets and switches that don’t even work, base boards that aren’t cut at the corners of the wall and stick out a few inches PAST the wall and this will cost you few hundred dollars more than it would have before “renovating” you know when everything in the unit actually worked and looked halfway decent), new carpeting in the hallway but I’d go

I don't live here and never have, but I have had quite a few friends live here over the past 10 years. What can I say? It's a budget apartment that has been around for a long time. The facility has pretty much never been architecturally renovated, and it always smells funny in the hallways. And by funny, I mean like vomit. The apartments are pretty spacious, but otherwise I guess you get what you pay for.

DO NOT RENT HERE. THE FLOORS ARE HORRIBLE (excessively loud creaks when any movement is done) AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SLEEP. NEW OWNERSHIP DOES NOT CARE EITHER. I talked to maintenance and they said they were redoing the carpets (and the floors underneath). NOPE. Only a new carpet and the same HORRIBLE floors. Any movement by upstairs neighbor, even moving in their bed from one side to the other, is enough noise to keep me up at night and I've always been an extremely heavy sleeper. If you walk up the stairs in the building, or in the hallway, you can tell how creaky the floors are and that is how bad the floor is for the 3rd floor everywhere.
