Leasing agent pretty much lied to me about removing my pet fee, and that there aren’t any monthly pet rent. Management never responds when reaching out by email. I did everything correct on my end, but when the apartment management changed I was then charged for my pets as the leasing agent didn’t properly fill out the pet addendum. Very unprofessional and doesn’t respond in an adequate timeframe.

Perry guest recently gave everyone in the Colony house apartments 60 days to vacate so that they can help further gentrify the neighborhood. They are going to go for Carriage house also. The plan of Grant Guest and every other person there has been to blindside their resident so that they could continue taking as much money as possible up until the very end. Do not ever sign a lease with these people. They do not care if residents report harassment from other residents. They do not care if you report that a neighbor harasses others while black out drunk. All they care about is taking as much money from you as possible.

RENTERS BEWARE! Perry Guest delivered this letter to all tenants in the Colony House complex that they are not honoring any leases and we all must leave within 60 days. No moving compensation, no month free so we can all afford to move. Just simply kicked out. That said, a lease with any Perry Guest property means that regardless of lease, they make sure they can choose to not honor it at any time. Buried towards the end of the lease, they add a clause stating that they can terminate the lease without reason if they give the tenant 60 days notice. I am pretty positive no other renter wants to take the chance of being kicked out of their apartment because they decided they are going to demolish it to build luxury condos. I would leave 0 if I could. This has been an absolute nightmare move in and I am left without a place to live. Perry Guest Co purchased my complex and made the switch on the day of my move in. My lease was signed with the previous company. I was not notified of this at all and was called 2 days after my slated move in. We agreed for that Friday to move in. No email confirmation or any other communication than that phone call. I called Friday and did not get a response. The former leasing office was closed as well. I called for 2 weeks without response after this. With help of the tenant that referred me, I was able to reach the main office line. Money hungry and gunning to tear up old buildings for the sole purpose of gentrification. Do NOT move to any complex with this management company. You have to borderline harass the staff to get anything done, and then after all that, they'll tear down your home, give you the absolute MINIMUM notice, and deny rent concessions. They simply couldn't care less – they're just there for a check and to screw you.
