I had a very nice experience working with Peninsula Land and Title. We needed an earlier closing date and Rene (Director of Preowned Home Closings) made sure that we got assigned to a title agent who could accommodate that request. Susan was our title agent and was amazing to work with. She was friendly, super speedy, and very communicative throughout the entire process. The closing went smoothly and Susan was a pleasure to spend time with. She explained everything in detail and translated the complex into something we could understand. It was a great experience!

If I could give a zero star, I certainly would. The best way to describe peninsula title and working with them would be if unprofessional and amatuer hour had a 1 night stand, peninsula title is what you would get from it.

Working with Amanda Merting on a recent mail-away closing in Florida was an absolute pleasure. Despite several last-minute adjustments and a few curveballs along the way, Amanda remained calm, professional, and on top of every detail. She was always responsive — quick to answer emails, always picked up the phone, and handled every challenge with a great attitude. Even when things got hectic, Amanda stayed cool, collected, and focused on getting the job done right. I couldn’t have asked for a better closing agent. Highly recommend!

Stay away from closing agent Marie Smith. I have never witnessed a more unpleasant person in my life. Marie made it almost impossible for us to close on time without financial penalty. Her lack of communication had us scrambling on closing day to have all our ducks in a row and receive the keys. On top of that, she took out her bad day on the buyers, verbally attacking them and eventually refusing to accommodate internet needs to wire the closing money. On one of the most exciting days of your life, buying a house, I would expect so much more from a closing agent. Leave your issues at home, put on a smile, and do your job right....Ive worked with dozens of Title Companies, and Peninsula was by far the worst experience I have ever had.
