Peanut Crossing

I was one of the first tenants to move in and had an issue with the previous manager losing my lease, when I found out the day before I was supposed to move in Maya (the current manager) was amazing, she made sure my lease was sent to me and that I was able to move in schedule. The apartments are beautiful and well maintained. The parking situation can be rough but it is my understanding that they are working on it. I have had minimal issues (none out of the norm) renting here. Every issue I’ve had maintenance wise has been taken care of in a timely manner and with care. They have only been open 8 months and working out the kinks but there are big plans for the property. I’m so glad to have found them and for the management team. Maya and Rob are absolutely amazing.

I lived at Peanut Crossing for about 6 months but ended up cutting my lease short after someone was murdered in the parking lot. Victoria the office manager is rarely in her office and does not reply to calls/ texts for days at a time. I could not get a hold of her at all the day I was moving out. I recently received a fraction of my initial deposit in the mail. They charged me $200 to mop my apartment and $75 to clean around my wash machine? The place was not clean when I moved in. Since the excessive fees do not go to maintaining the apartments hopefully they will be put towards security at the complex. Do not sign a lease at Peanut Crossing.

We’ve only been here a year and have had 3 different apartment managers.. Apartment manager currently, Victoria Phillips, is extremely rude. Our previous AM , Maya, was always around the neighborhood and would have frequent events at the clubhouse and was easy to get a hold of if we had an issue. Victoria is the complete opposite, I don’t even know what she looks like, tenants were introduced through email/letter. When we reached out to see why our lease was auto renewed when we requested it not to be, she was quick to talk over my husband and catch an attitude. She could not give us an answer, refused to give us any higher ups contact info. Refusing to set up appointments and now not answering the phone, but I see she can respond to my husband via Google reviews. Very Unprofessional. Fir

Been here for a few years now. Several managers have come and gone; only one was a decent human being. Maya, our first, was always present, answered questions, and gave us the time of day. The latter couple have never been seen, and come up with drummed up excuses to make issues with tenants. The constant trains are the least of your concerns, though they will keep coming at all hours of night laying in on their horn; someone was murdered both in the parking lot, and across the tracks in the past year. Don't walk; run away from this one. Not worth it at all.

This property is so nice! I love the different floor plans, even though it makes it hard to decide. I’ve been looking for an affordable industrial style apartment for a while and this is one of the best thus far. Hopefully if my company moves me here I can rent with you all! Victoria was easy to get a hold of and answered all of my questions. Definitely one of the nicer leasing people I’ve dealt with. I will definitely check for sister properties if I can’t move to this area.
