I moved my Dad from a very abusive nursing home to his own apartment. I'm his full time caregiver until he's back on his feet. Scheduling appointments (for home health), dealing with doctors, lawyers and therapist is stressful enough. Now I'm told that EVERY caregiver has to give ME their personal information to park here!!! There is no way that's going happen. And the office staff who was so incredibly friendly before signing the lease now act like we have the plague. If you are looking for an apartment for an elderly loved one, keep looking. And remember what I've painfully learned; sales people are sales people. Once you've signed on the dotted line they couldn't care less about the stress caused by their unrealistic demands.

While staying here, there were multiple issues with neighbors and noise disturbances in the middle of the night, my fiancé was FALSELY accused of putting hands on me and forcing me into our apartment (we had an argument in the parking lot however there was ZERO physical altercation) to the point where I had cops come and visit me the next day to ask me questions and the office questioned me about it as well. I did spend my early pregnancy here before my fiancé and I moved. One of the neighbors was constantly smoking weed, which made me extremely nauseous however, when I notified the front office, nothing was done. One of our other neighbors was constantly fighting and screaming at each other at all hours of the night and day. Even though cops were called multiple times back to back sometim

New management is nice but nothing gets done. I've lived here for going on 6 months and I've had to deal with a poorly insulating front door, embarrassing to say but cockroaches as well. I've told management and they "sprayed" one time. So I've battled with the roach situation, had to fix doors that didn't shut properly, and the finish trim on thier "update" is poorly installed. I can't believe how disappointing this place is...

So I am a new tenant. I haven’t been living here long maybe like two weeks from the time that I signed my lease to the time that I did my first walk-through the same issues that were wrong with the initial walk-through we’re still wrong when I moved in, I did another walk-through and they still have done little to nothing. I have ants continuously coming out. My back patio door was full of gnats. It took me days to get the stench of dog hair and dog smell out of the apartment when I went to clean up, you can tell that they didn’t clean. They just painted over dirt because there’s dog hair Human hair. My ceiling is dirty. It’s just overall a lack of days ago representation of this apartment complex.

Peaks at Live Oak Apartments — listen, if I’ve been here for four years, they must be doing something right! The location? Chef’s kiss. You’re minutes from the Forum, Target, tacos, and just enough chaos to keep life spicy but not stressful. It’s like suburban Goldilocks—just right. Sure, the buildings have a little "vintage charm" (aka they’re not brand new), but the renovated units are cute, cozy, and perfect for vibing. Maintenance shows up more consistently than my ex did, and the staff has always treated me well. Quiet enough to sleep, lively enough to people-watch on your balcony with a snack. It’s not luxury—but it’s comfortable, affordable, and honestly? It feels like home. 10/10 would still be living here (because I am).
