Parkwood Apartments

Similar to the review by Quentin Charles below, I had the same experience with Parkwood. Prior to move out, I was in constant communication with Luz and Morgan about a balance that was due for a SODA that needed to be completed - I was ready to pay whatever was due at the time. Tried to get in contact multiple times and never heard back. This was in 2023. Fast-forward to 2025, I see a random derogatory remark on my credit score for this amount due that Parkwood never attempted once to reach out to me about? Just sent straight to collections without trying to notify me first. Avoid this place at all costs.

Updated, full kitchen. Fresh new paint, floors & carpet. Lots of storage and central AC. This is a well maintained, gated property and includes grass, trees, a pool, and swings. We haven’t had any problems finding parking. Pet friendly. The location is great too, it’s right off the freeway and down the highway from Travis afb. I’m really grateful for the manager Jennifer, who listens and cares deeply about any concern. Adrian has been on top of the couple work orders we’ve placed. He is timely and professional. Overall I would recommend Parkwood Apartments!

Roaches!!!!! I just moved in on 01/10/2025 and I have had roaches every night. They stated they sprayed my apartment but that’s not addressing the issue since they continue to show up in my bedroom. I have not been comfortable to sleep in the place I am supposed to call home . Hopefully this review brings to their attention this issue that needs to be addressed immediately and not just glossed over. If nothing is done, legal action will have to be taken. Update 01/28/25 With effort on my end and the apartment I have been 5 days roach free. I still don’t like that I have to come in and check each room when I come home just to make sure I see none. But, I do appreciate the apartments swift move to rectify this issue.

Bottom line, Parkwood is a great place to live. Yes, Parkwood has updated apartments, a well-maintained property, and security of a gated perimeter, but what sets them apart is their phenomenal management--specifically Jen and Adrian. Every interaction with them is superbly kind and professional. In our short time residing at Parkwood (a couple of weeks), my wife and I have experienced Jen and Adrian exceed our expectations with making us feel safe, valued, and supported. Furthermore, work orders are fulfilled promptly and with attention to detail. I highly recommend Parkwood! Edit (7/31/2024) - I just wanted to add that our maintenance team--especially Mr. P--is always on point and cultivates a great living experience by completing any work orders ASAP, even if it's after hours.

Since the moment I stepped into the office, Jennifer was very professional and very kind. She answered every question I had thoroughly and explained the application process very well. The application process was very fast and easy too. Jennifer always found a way to accommodate us and helped us with any issues we ran into. Adrian is also very profession and an amazing maintenance technician. He is always there when we have an emergency and our work orders are resolved really fast. They are both really good people and I don't have any complaints since I have moved here.
