Parkview Terraces

Where should we start and when do we end. I don’t recommend if you want a run around or made to feel that you’re in the wrong. Pool is never clean and gates open to anyone even though told for years. It will be said in response that all will be fixed and then break again and forgotten. Same with pool ect.. Red tape and bids is the story. Always something here. If you like mold because of flooding and Ac leaks and dirty pools and talked down to when you need help not attitude, rent here.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Find a better place that can manage a property properly. The maintenance guys are great, but the front office is terrible. We have lived here for over 2 years and it has been the worst managed complex I have ever lived in. The front gate is always broken. Its maybe working for a week before it breaks again, obviously they aren't charging the people who break it because they are increasing monthly fees with everyone's renewals. Our gas fireplace hasn't worked since the day we moved in. (They claim they are waiting on the city to sign off on permits but I know that doesn't take over two years) It took them three months to fix our stove that wasn't heating, took another three or so months to replace the dryer that wasn't drying clothes properly. Have rented here for a couple of years. Before it used to be Cortland Terraces and that company seemed to care for the tenants. Parkview Terraces charges fee after fee that is not included in the lease agreement and leasing agents can’t talk to you about it or even pull up your file on the system. To my understanding, it’s been a revolving door of leasing agents that don’t have the sufficient authority to refund charged fees but even at that the property manager won’t address any concerns brought up. I’ve been charged storage fees, amenity fees, gate fees, package room fees (package left in pending parcel less than 24hrs). Need to speak with a person of authority asap.

This management team is incredibly helpful. I misplaced both my front door key and my mailbox key, and when I went to the office, they were both replaced the same day. The manager, Sharon, even stayed in the office until 7:30 PM so I could make it back after work. As a resident, this is exactly what you hope for — responsive, supportive, and reliable management. Update: I have since gotten my dishwasher fixed (thank you Antonio!) but I am still keeping up my review as I am still overall dissatisfied in my stay here and my main grievance with this complex is communication. I don't usually post reviews good or bad as I am a private person and I just rather not. But I've been having such a bad time here that I can't be quiet any longer. The biggest problem I have with this complex since day one is the lack of communication. Majority of my problems have been with getting no communication at all. Anytime I need information I either have to call or go down to the office or repeatedly spam email them — all of which I hate doing. Management is unresponsive and if you need maintenance or anything fixed you will have to unfortunately annoy them constantly
