Parkview Apartments

Warning!! Do not move here. Terrible management! I moved due to a mice infection in apartment. Mice were coming in through the vent on the stove. Management did nothing to prevent re-entry. I gave up. Who wants to live with mice? Not me!

Been here for almost 4 months now and so far it's been great to live here. The manager (J) is pretty cool, and understanding. Makes it easy to ask questions. Love paying rent through my phone. It's easy, fast and never worrying about a late payment. Reason for 4/5 stars is just cause we pay water/sewer and that can be a deal breaker considering a lot of places pay for water & sewer. The apartments are really chill, relaxed, and quiet. Lots of places close by, school, grocery, restaurants and parks. Well maintained also. So far so good

Overall living was not bad. Most my neighbors we so noisy I had my door open to bring in groceries and one girl literally stood looking into my apartment and I had to say what are you doing. We had a car stolen here and my car was broken into packages stolen, complained many times. Homeless going threw the trash at night so I didnt even dare go out at night. I had the carpets cleaned before move out inspection was told there was just one spot they would need to have cleaned again in one of the rooms, was charged 250 for one quarter size spot. Not to mention when I tried to call to complain about it she would not answer my calls i called over 12 times within 2 days. The new manager is very sweet but why with all the thief and homeless in the trash cans, has no cameras been put up.

Have been living here since 2011 and haven't ever really had a problem when it comes to management or maintenance issues. Jaime is very nice, and will address your concerns as soon as possible. Moreover, the quality of the units are improving through various cosmetic changes. Cannot speak for everyone, but it is a very safe environment.

I would never recommend anyone to rent at Parkview Apartments, mostly due to the poor state of management. During my time at Parkview Apartments, management ran the apartment complex like a bunch of slumlords. Different people had different rents usually based on whether the tenants were in favor with management; plus management enforced rules differently on tenants based on how much they were looked upon in favor. Recently, an old property manager was fired for comingaling funds with tenants and a new manager was brought in who is rude and unnecessarily vindictive. Dalton Management, based in Portland, is equally unorganized and unresponsive to tenant needs and places a large burden of the overpriced utilities on tenants.
