They have changed from being low-income to wanting to charge the average rent in Missoula (which is about $1500, if you didn't know). They are incrementally pricing everyone out so that they can 'renovate' the apartments and then charge money that they aren't worth. Don't be fooled, they are liars and MHA is a greedy association of jerks.

Me, my wife, and my daughter lived here for almost 5 years. While the application process can be difficult and drawn out we have never had a problem since. The maintenance always responded to us fairly quickly and we never had an issue with the front office (then again, we always pay our rent on time). The rent price is great as well and it's all utilities paid. If you qualify I would definitely look into here.

My experience was absolutely horrendous! All I was doing was dropping off an application to live there and from the minute I walked through the door the lady behind the counter was rolling her eyes at me and heavy sighing like I was putting her out. Asked if there was a better time and she said that she it's okay she's got 5 minutes to give me and as she went through my application she was scoffing and had a problem with literally everything. She made me feel like a complete scab. I asked her what her name was and if I could get ahold of somebody else and talk to them. She asked me why and proceeded to argue with me that I did not need to talk to anyone else and she refused to give me her manager's name or a co-worker's name. BEWARE OF SHADY OFFICE PRACTICES!!!! We rented a 2 bedroom apt, and had to move out due to job relocation to another state. We had 2 months left on lease, and were told that we could move out as long as they were able to re-rent the place which wouldn't be a problem as they had a long wait list. We found out our place was indeed re rented, and then not long after we received a bill for over $2,500 for collections (2 months rent, plus collections fees) which are in the process of being disputed, which has been a nightmare. They are VERY strict, micro manage the place to the point of intrusion. IE: chair outside by your door, all of your comings and goings, inspections, and also there were a few mentally disabled people there, who we were unlucky enough to live by, who complained about EVER
