I’ve been a tenant for over 10 years, and my recent experience with New Park Management has been very disappointing. Despite paying rent in advance, I was charged late fees twice (after payments made on November 25 and December 31). One staff member acknowledged the fee was improper, but it was never corrected. Other calls went unanswered, and another representative refused to review the payment history and hung up. The rent is relatively cheap, but the office response and customer service are terrible. This appears to be a billing system issue combined with poor communication. After 10+ years as a responsible tenant, this experience seriously undermined my confidence in management. I recommend closely monitoring your rent ledger if you rent from New Park Management.

Echoing what everyone else is saying: if you know the management of your apartment is this company, do not rent. My mother moved in to an upstate apartment managed by this company, only to find that the unit does not have gas. To turn the gas on the building must hire a plumber to do a test before calling Con Edison to restart the gas. It took them NINETEEN days to even schedule the test, during which there was no gas in the apartment. Yet they are not providing any rent abatement, knowing that not providing gas service is a breach of state law. They also threatened eviction right after we tried to claim the partial abatement. Lucky I'm a practicing lawyer who knows the laws well enough. People who live in buildings managed by this company: don't be afraid to stand up for what's yours. Hir

Avoid 8635 21st Avenue – No Heat, Rude Management If you’re considering renting at 8635 21st Avenue, be aware: this building is consistently without heat, even during the coldest months. Despite multiple complaints and requests from tenants, nothing is done. Residents are left to freeze, and basic living conditions are simply ignored. The property manager Scott Kiaer is extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely unresponsive. Any attempt to communicate or report issues is either brushed off or met with hostility. There is zero accountability, and the well-being of tenants is clearly not a concern.

Unreliable, rude and lazy employees such as Scott Kiaer (Building Manager), Roberto (Superintendent) and most in Accounting. Apartments in poor condition for the price and deteriorating but reports to the Superintendent are only given attention if a hefty tip is included. Several issues during winter with heating and instances of water being turned off for hours with no explanation. Newly rented apartments are quickly and shoddily prepared for the next tenant with no inspection prior to its new arrival. Expect issues within the first year of occupancy.

Giving 1 star to publish, up to me ZERO star for this company. We moved out the apartment on 03/29/24 and until today we have not received our security deposit. We called several times, we have emailed many times and get only lies and ppl rude. This is totaly a discrimination agaist me and my husband who have to go though to this ordeal to receive what legally belongs to us. PLEASE DO RENT ANY APARTMENT FOR THIS COMPANY. :( bad bad business
