Park Lane Apartments & Townhomes

Would highly NOT recommend. Upon our move-in, there were multiple cockroach sightings inside our unit (kitchen and 2nd bathroom) despite it being claimed as a pre-inspected unit. As that went on, we found the entire property and lawn at night is infested with them crawling everywhere (if you’re curious, go by at night and look around the grounds). I also found on move-in day that our dishwasher was broken (again, claimed “pre inspected) and maintenance never came to fix it the entire time we lived there (3 weeks) The office is open one day a week, same with maintenance being present on property. I rented here under my maiden name Anna White, 2 months post move out and they still refuse remember to send me my $1000 back from my deposit that they receipted is owed to me. I call over and over and get promised it will get escalated and/or I'll get a call back and the answering person agrees it's terrible I haven't received my payment... and I never do. Two months and I'm still waiting and getting the run around. Absolutely horrible care for customers

This was a terrible place to live. The only good thing was the proximity to downtown Carmel and Library. The property is poorly managed, with repairs taking months to occur, and when major fixes are required (like the clearing of a main drainage pipe), the property gets dumped on another manager. The pool is hardly ever open. The water lines require an entire gutting due to limescale build-up. The blinds are janky and falling apart. Paint has been slapped over old layers so many times that it just peels off when humid (like in the bathroom). The rent may be lower, but you will pay for it in other failings in management, maintenance, and lack of care for the residents.

I lived in Parklane apartments for 5 months and I was not greatly happy or disappointed either . I have paid and cleared everything from my side but my advance deposit hasn’t been returned till now . I’m following it up anyways . If you have children and wanting to go to Carmel clay public library , Carmel schools , this is one of the good place to live as kids can go by walk and of-course evenings can be spent happily walking to midtown .
