Park Lake Village

My husband and I lived at Park Lake Village for 3 years in a renovated apartment and overall it was a positive experience. Alena and her maintenance team are very responsive and maintain a great property. The frustrations come if you have bad neighbors. Pros: - Great maintenance team: overall quick to respond to requests through app, even on weekends and repairs were good - Property maintenance: landscaping was taken care of, snow was plowed and shoveled right away - Convenient location for commuters: by major highways, walking distance from NYC bus stop and 10 minutes from train stations - Safe neighborhood: safe for kids to walk around and packages were never stolen - Plenty to do: from restaurants to fun activities in and around town - Rent: easily pay through app and lease renew

Rented a 1 bed here for 1.5 years from around mid 2024 to end of 2025 (Leaving mid-2nd year due to work stuff). I rented a newly renovated unit for $1979/mo and 1.5mo deposit, which was not refunded (mutually agreed) due to breaking lease. Area and utils The place was clean, garbage, maintenance, mail, snow clearing, etc seemed to all be working great. Area is quiet and no problems with parking and no problems with any sort of package theft. Their office is open on all work days and I had no problems reaching them when needed. You need to setup your own power and internet. Water/garbage is taken care of by them. I have been living here for 7 months now and have loved it so far! Everyone I have interacted with has been kind and helpful. Maintenance requests are handled quickly. Alena in the rental office was great to work with from the start and is always friendly and quick to respond to emails/phone calls. My apartment was re-done with new appliances, floors and windows before I moved it. Everything is fresh and new. I’ve never had any issues with neighbors. For the most part, it is a quiet and respectful environment. This is a great location to live. I definitely recommend Park Lake Village!

I lived at Park Lake Village for 2 years and it was the best place I ever rented at! Maintenance was always available to help with any problem I had within 1-2 business days and many times was available the same day! Any time I had a question I could ask the property manager who was very friendly and always helpful. The walls are not thin like people say, the only time I ever heard my neighbors was after they had a baby and I never even heard my other neighbors in 2 years! I would absolutely recommend living here and would ignore the fake 1 star reviews (that half the time you can tell are fake because they make no sense)

Alena is an utterly exceptional property manager. The place I rented from her appears to be totally renovated--brand new everything. So clean, fresh smell, new windows, etc. Snow teams salt and plow on time if there's snow and ice. Laundry rooms are all around the complex, and they're very-well maintained. It's truly a pleasure to live here.
