Palmetto Promenade Apartments

I had an awesome tour at Palmetto Promenade thanks to Aaron. From our first phone call, he was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right fit. He answered every question I had, highlighted all the little details that make the community stand out, and never made me feel rushed.

The actual move was easy enough to move in, but the rest of it was over the top silly, with a prime example being the requirement to get a cashier's check for the deposit and 1st month's rent when we weren't moving in for 2 months (afraid a personal check won't clear in 2 months?). I won't get into the emails bombarding us with offers for services. And the lack of recycling in this building reflects horridly on the owners. We were professionally packed and this place required us to dump close to 20 trash bags of nothing but paper into the trash (and ultimately a landfill somewhere). I am anti-climate change activism, but still hard to imagine how much could waste could be recycled out of this building if these owners cared about anything other than making money.

I moved in a couple of weeks ago. While I was a little confused on move-in day, I've otherwise had a wonderful experience. The building is quiet. Neighbors are great and friendly. Overall really love the place so far. The only recommendation is I'd love to make it easier for guests to use the elevators without having to go down and get someone to let them in.

The building is just not run at 100% - especially in parking and cleanliness. The air units on the roof send sound into apartments, walls are too thin. It's a pleasant place to live but it could be better. Living in multiple cities I experience a number of management companies. Either this building is run by too big a company or their priorities are simply more focused on shear profit. Again - far from awful but its the little things. No building is perfect - I am sure they try their best.
