I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so others are aware. When I first moved into this property, I was placed in an apartment that was dirty and had visible mold. This raised serious health and safety concerns, and it was extremely disappointing that the unit was not properly cleaned or inspected before I was given the keys. On top of that, I recently discovered that maintenance entered my apartment without giving me any prior notice and did not leave a note or any documentation to let me know they had been there. Unless there is a true emergency, tenants should always be informed before anyone enters their home. Looks NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES or MODLE APARTMENT. Just moved in and this is the master bedroom door. German Roaches in all the bedrooms and kitchen. The smell is horrible! Balaclava mold on all the vents and the A/C unit is covered in black mold. I would be appalled if I owned or operated these apartments. $1900 a month and I feel like I’m living in slums of a 3rd world country. The bathroom might as well be a hole in the floor.

I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disheartening experience with Palmetto Grove Apartments, related to the application process. The property came highly recommended, and I had hoped it would be a welcoming place to live while I finish my studies. Unfortunately, what I found was a leasing team that lacked transparency and professionalism, and genuine customer service. The communication was inconsistent and misleading, the staff was unhelpful at best and hostile at worst, and the overall experience was riddled with ambiguity. If this is how they handle the application process, I cannot in good conscience recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Moved here November of 2020 and moved out February of 2022. The First week it rained and my bedroom flooded and they put a fan in to dry the carpet. It took about 2 months to discover the water was coming from the bedroom window. Every time I put in a maintenance request all they did was put a fan in the room and never addressed the actual issue. I showed them mold growing in the window and they denied it saying it was not mold. My Furniture also became moldy with the wood swelling due to the moisture. After several maintenance requests they did not come and fix the issue until I declined to renew my lease with them, which a week after they came and fixed the window almost a full year after the first request.
