First, the good: this company is good about maintenance issues. They stay on top of things and get repairs done quickly. I was prepared to give them a great review until they pulled a fast one at the end. I intended to give them a 30 day notice to run through the end of September; I called the office to see where to send our written notice and was informed that I had to show up in person to fill out the form. We were leaving town, so I had to extend the notice until October 5 (a Sunday) and pay an extra 5 days rent, which I wasn’t happy about. There is zero reason why the notice cannot be simply mailed or emailed to them. Well, we scoured the place and dropped the keys in the lockbox a day early, Saturday the 4th. Meanwhile, they charged us on the 1st for another full month’s rent.

Landlords were okay, when we first got the apartment we were told it had been cleaned and carpets steamed cleaned, we said ok. Well we cleaned it before we moved in and it was pretty nasty. So on that note we steamed cleaned the carpets ourself. And from the black water that was in the steam cleaner. I don’t think they cleaned it at all. So us having to clean it before we moved in like they should have attempted at least I can say we left that apartment cleaner than how we received and then they charge us a cleaning fee when we move out? I don’t know if that’s with everyone but I’ll tell you our apartment was cleaner than anything they could do. They will take care of you if your adamant. Upon moving out, we left the place in the same condition we found it an arguably 5x cleaner. The shower was disgusting when we moved in. We were charged $600 in cleaning and repair fees that are totally bogus. Do not rent from these crooks.

I had a Lease with this company spent $12,000k for the lease 1000k month for one year AC was broken for one year worn out old unit asked for it to be repaired technicians told them they need to replace the outside condenser or compressor. They did nothing they wouldn’t repair it. My mother had open heart surgery quadruple bypass and they still wouldn’t fix it. Ac would run for 18 hours a day and shutt off around 11pm at night temp 78 to all day 80 procent humidity. I got my first apartment in December 2021 and I stayed there until September 2023 and I enjoyed every moment there! I had great neighbors, and the location was very convenient for getting to my job, and local shopping/parks/entertainment. Any time I had a question or concern, the office assistants and management were always very helpful and understanding. The maintenance men were always kind and helpful to any issue we came across within the unit! Overall, Paige Properties was a great choice for me and I would rent from them again.
