Overton Lofts

I loved my time at The Lofts. The location is super convenient—walking distance to Texas Tech games—and the live DJ on Saturdays was a fun bonus from my balcony. Plus, having bills and Wi‑Fi included made everything stress‑free. Highly recommend!

I love the work put into the Overton Lofts since the management change. They have added a fence to seperate from rersturant behind and have 2 pet clean ups for easy access. They also installed cameras and have private parking. This place is an amazing place to stay if you're looking for a high end loft apartment with all applicances and utiltiies included!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Living here has been nothing short of a nightmare: Break-ins & Theft: Our unit was broken into and robbed. Our car was burglarized twice. The doors and knobs are so flimsy that a slight push can open them Management Negligence: Management does not care. They refuse to fix or upgrade anything, even after repeated incidents. No Screening: There are no background checks or rental history requirements. Literally anyone with a deposit can move in, which makes the property unsafe. Constant Police Presence: Police are called regularly for burglaries, domestic violence, fights, and drug use. It feels more like a crime scene than a community. Research crimes at the property before renting. Drug Use & Homeless Campers: Drug activity among tenants and homeles

Living here was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. The building quality is awful, constant maintenance issues, cheap materials, and things break way too often for the rent being charged. Management? Completely dishonest. They’ll lie to your face, make false promises, and disappear when actual problems come up. The surrounding area is just as bad. There are homeless people constantly camped out around the property, and we had multiple attempted break-ins, not just into units, but into everybody’s cars. It's like the place has zero security. And if you’re hoping for peace and quiet? Forget it. The bar noise at night is unbearable every day feels like you're living inside a nightclub. Don’t fall for it.This place is a loud, unsafe, and poorly managed mess. Rent literally anywhere

Since the management change, Overton Lofts has made great improvements. It’s a perfect choice if you’re looking for a modern, comfortable loft.
