I removed the raccoon myself and repaired the wall, but the smell kept coming into my apartment. I reported it to the apartment office, telling them what I had done and that the odor was still present. They thanked me for removing the raccoon and fixing the wall, and said a pest control team would come to clean inside the wall. It has now been over 20 days, and the pest control team has never come. When I asked why, they said they were busy and would come next week—but still never showed up. I even spoke to the office manager, asking what I should do about the smell, and their rude response was, “You’ll just have to live with it.” In the end, I had to op

I’ve lived in this community for over 30 years and have never experienced the level of disregard I’ve faced recently. A $125 lease renewal fee was added to a PDF supposedly emailed on 3/7 — yet no one has been able to produce the original email or explain why that charge was missing from the only lease email I actually received. This appears to be retaliatory, following a service request I submitted when my unit was without heat for six days — with no response from the 24-hour emergency number. Despite a manager previously agreeing with my concerns and reversing a similar fee, this issue was ignored, and no one could provide a straight answer. Rude experience. their “third party” scheduling lied telling me a bunch of requirements or lack their of that wasn’t true such as they accept a certain credit score, no need for 3x the rent, etc. Even encouraged me to bring my dog to the office so they can meet him (thank goodness I didn’t) just to get me in the door. I drove over an hr away to be told make 3x the amount of rent when I confirmed twice that wasn’t necessary before arrival. Instead I was met with a rude office manager I’m assuming, some woman who lacked professionalism trying to yell across the office to me denying my rental assistance which can’t be done in the state of nj- not the program I had and it’s a Google search away. Also tried to tell me there’s no contracts with the leasing & the program I’m in which isn’t true,

This is the worse place to rent. They do not answer no requests on time. They don’t have a lot of maintenance people to assist. They bother you more for the rent then to make sure that the complex is clean my mother walked her dog over here and her dog got sick because there was dog poop all over the complex and they don’t make sure everything in your apartment is fix. And the roaches / mice issues is the worse they not trying to attend to the problem at all. Be careful trying to rent here. Never again let this be one of the top five last places to rent
