Orchard Glen Estates

My wife and I lived here temporarily for 1 year while we were building our house in Jacksonville. The place is very noisy, especially if your apartment is near the Mexican restaurant, which might not be operating at the moment. When they were operating, they played extremely loud Mariachi music every Single weekend night until 2am. We complained numerous times to management and the police but nothing was done. Our apartment faced the parking lot and it was miserable with people coming and going at all hours...car alarms going off, kids playing in the parking lot, custody exchanges in the parking lot, parents trying to get their kids to school, practices, daycare, whatever and kids screaming and acting up all right outside our apartment, all beginning very early in the morning. Good place to live! It’s quiet, a lot of the people that live here are friendly too. Very neat and clean around here they really keep the place up very well. My one and only real issue is parking. My boyfriend can’t find a place to park (he’s on the lease too) Honestly they need to add a second reserved parking spot for two vehicles.

The staff that works in the office is very friendly, and the apartments are very nice on the inside (although walls are very, very thin to the point I can hear the neighbors get up and pee late at night). The thing that COMPLETELY ruins the experience is the parking. If you get off work later than 5 pm PREPARE TO BE SCREWED. They don't have anywhere near enough parking for the residents, and we're surrounded by nothing but businesses so there's no where else to park. They will tow your car if you park in a no parking spot (obviously) which I wouldn't have an issue with IF THERE WAS ENOUGH PARKING. It's a nightly ritual to watch car after car circle the complex hoping that someone is about to vacate a spot and they will luck out. Calling the property director does absolutely nothing as she

The staff is nice, and the apartments are clean. The rent is affordable, and they allow pets which is nice. The management will enforce noise rules, and dog poop rules which is a plus. They're brand new so they are very energy efficient. Yeah the walls/ceilings are thin, it's an apartment. The only down side to this nice complex is the parking. It's horrible! Most of the tenants have more than one vehicle per apartment, but the management only gives one spot per apartment and a small amount of unassigned spots. There's never enough parking, and I've often times have had to park at the BiMart across the street. I do feel like that is completely unacceptable. It's difficult for company to find a spot as well. hello i have nothing but wonderful to say about this place. the maint guys rock he is always willing to help. He keeps the place clean. The Mexican music across the parking lot drives me nut at 2 in the morning. I have complain to the city many times. over all from the office staff to maint this place is a joy to live.
