This was one of the most unprofessional rental experiences I’ve had. I applied for an apartment through Zillow and paid the application fee, then toured the unit the next day. I followed up multiple times expressing clear interest and asking for updates on simply whether or not the application was approved, and kept getting vague or delayed responses — if any at all. After two full weeks of checking in and being left in the dark (including being completely ignored at one point), the listing suddenly disappeared from Zillow. Only when I reached out again asking for an update and some clarification was I finally told they went with someone else. No notice, no explanation, no courtesy.
