Customer Reviews
Onyx North Central is a one of a kind community in Phx! My husband and I run a mobile coffee cart and recently hosted a morning coffee pop-up for their residents. Jessica, the manager, and the on site staff were amazing! They were friendly and made us feel right at home. The amenities and the atmosphere made for a very comfortable and luxury pop-up experience. We enjoyed interacting with the residents throughout the pop-up and seeing the camaraderie that the community has built. I would definitely recommend Onyx North Central to anyone looking for luxury living, a team of staff who really care, top-notch amenities, and reoccurring opportunities to engage as a community. Will definitely be back!
The staff is very welcoming and attentive during the initial tour, but once you become a resident, the experience changes significantly. Concerns and questions often feel like an inconvenience rather than something management is willing to address proactively. The lobby and presentation are beautiful, but unfortunately, the appearance can be misleading compared to the day-to-day living experience. Here are some issues we encountered: 1. Pet Management & Cleanliness The complex allows pets, which is completely reasonable. However, there appears to be little enforcement or maintenance regarding pet-related cleanliness. Over time, the property has developed a noticeable urine odor, especially after it rains. The dog park area, in particular, often smells strongly of waste. While pet fees ar
We just want to give a huge shoutout to our maintenance team, especially Jesus! He is absolutely amazing. Every time we put in a request, he responds quickly and fixes everything so efficiently. No matter how big or small the issue is, he handles it with such professionalism and care. On top of that, he is one of the kindest people you’ll meet. He’s always friendly, respectful, and takes the time to explain what he’s doing. And the best part? He loves our dogs! It’s rare to find someone who is not only great at their job but also brings such a positive attitude every time. We truly appreciate everything he does to keep our home running smoothly. Thank you, Jesus!
Jessica is hands down the best property manager I’ve dealt with. She’s professional, responsive, and genuinely cares — which is rare in this industry. Any time something comes up, she handles it quickly and communicates clearly, and that alone has made a huge difference in my experience living here. She’s the main reason I’ve stayed, and I really appreciate how she runs things. If you’re lucky enough to have Jessica managing your property, you’re in good hands. The building is great but not the reason I’ve stayed!
If you are looking for an apartment complex that takes care of it's residents DO NOT live here. I visit my best friend almost daily here and this facility is poorly managed/maintained. Seems like ever since Chamberlin + Associates took over they have just allowed anyone to stay here. I guess if you enjoy smelling weed, having to walk by throw up, dirty common areas, no maintenance for multiple days and residents dinging your doors cause they aren't careful this is your spot. You can report so many things here to the front office and they tell you they are doing things but reality is they don't. Once the fire alarm kept going off and someone came and checked it, removed the battery and unplugged it. To this day it's still unplugged. 4 months + later. They (Jay B.) sends you an email stating
