I have lived here for close to two years and have had a mixed experience overall. On the positive side, the apartments are quite spacious and well-designed, with good-quality furnishings and finishes. The location is definitely a plus — close to restaurants, cafes, and several parks. However, several aspects of the community left me disappointed. The amenities are very limited — the gym, for example, feels outdated and poorly maintained, with basic equipment that hasn’t been upgraded in a long time. What used to make the place feel special — community events like trivia nights, online yoga sessions, or small touches like coffee in the cabana and dog treats — all stopped when management changed last year. I lived in this apartment complex for three years. Unfortunately, my experience at move-out completely ruined what could have been a positive impression. After vacating, I was shocked to receive a $404.26 move-out charge, which included questionable items such as: $34.26 for blind replacement, even though the blinds were already defective when I moved in and had been reported at least three times through maintenance requests. $80 in labor for “replacing blinds and a screen door,” even though the inspection photos showed only normal wear and tear — something clearly excluded from tenant liability under Washington law (RCW 59.18.280). $190 for professional cleaning, despite my having thoroughly cleaned the unit and followed the move-out checklist provided by the leasing office. I've lived in Ondine for a little over one year. From the beginning its been a great experience. I immediately signed my lease renewal after my first year. The units are super quiet. I NEVER hear my neighbors. Maintenance, for the couple of times I've called, has been very responsive. Hailey, our Community Director, is an angel...always smiling, willing to help and is professional, thoughful and compassionate. Ondine rocks!!

Best apartment I’ve lived in! The management is amazing and very responsive. The layouts are pretty unique and feel like a home not just an apartment. The community is quiet and friendly and there’s incredible access to restaurants, trails, the beach on Lake Washington, and even a dog park. The garage and area feels safe and there’s a bus stop right in front of the complex making transportation easy. This place is truly a hidden gem and would recommend to anyone wanting to live in the Kirkland area!
