The HOA here are the pettiest I've ever experienced, to the point of ridiculousness. In the 3 short months we've lived here, we've received 2 written complaints: One for backing in our vehicle to park, and another to "remove non-patio items from the porch"....those items? I'm assuming that would be my toddler's rain boots (that were drying off), because nothing else other than some potted plants are located on our front porch. Seriously?! Look, I understand that there's rules and all that jazz, and the HOA's job is to enforce said rules, within reason. But ultimately the HOA is doing little more than annoying us and questioning our decision to stay here.
