Oliver & Wendell Apartments

Lived in this apartment building for two years, and we loved it when it was owned by GoGopher. However, our experience soured once Riverton took over the property in early 2025. Within the first month, they tried to increase our monthly parking payment (despite having a set parking rate in our lease)- took a series of emails to settle this one and have them not increase the rate. They doubled the price of renting an AC unit for the summer - was able to resolve this but also took a series of emails to get things settled. Maintenance requests took 3-4 times longer to get addressed, and they were not always properly fixed. We were not planning to resign our lease regardless, but I do know the proposed rent increase was far more than the increase we had under GoGopher when we resigned our lea

Lived here here for almost a year by now. Riverton has recently taken this property, and there have been a lot of improvements they made. The new management is communicative and responsive. The area itself is far from perfect. It can get quite noisy here, especially in summer, plus sometimes it might feel a little unsafe. But overall, it's been a good experience here!

Living here the past few years has been awesome, we love the amenities and general location of the building. The new rental company has been immensely helpful, accommodating, and easy to get ahold of. I would highly recommend to anyone looking in this area for apartments!

There are literally no words that I can use to do justice to this absolute horrible handling of any situation you could possibly conceive of occurring here. Management does nothing. Not to fix minor issues with heat, water, ice machine all the way too NOT making sure accidents do not happen in the parking lot damaging cars, having packages stolen from a mail room with a supposed camera, fights occurring, people being let into the building that is advertised as having "secure access" and then breaking doors down and robbing people, and so on. Additionally they wont let you out of your lease if that does happen unless you want to pay thousands even though it is their fault. The building ISN'T secure!!! this place was newly remodeled, but the walls ended up peeling off during the winter, we barely got any heat in the winter due to the broken thermostat, and we tried having maintenance fix it but they didn’t help/couldn’t help anything. we were told we were going to get AC units when my roommate and i moved in last august, never got them, then got an email saying we’re going to get charged extra for it to be installed and to keep it. the management is JUST NOW after MONTHS fixing our parking problem, it’s just not worth the money. management communication is terrible to the point where there is no response back from them. they also only have a 250$ deposit to move out early and not have to keep the responsibilities of paying rent until the lease is over which personally, i think is very un
