Oakes Pond at Bloomfield

I don’t normally write reviews. However the experience I just had on a tour was unmatched. The energy of the staff from the top was contagious. It felt welcoming and genuine. You could tell they really enjoy their team and taking care of the residence. Aileen, the manager, introduced herself before the tour and was very personable, knowledgeable, and courteous. In addition the facility was beautiful and spacious. At the completion of my tour with Samantha I was impressed and convinced this is where I want to call home. I am looking forward to living there with my family.

My wife and I love it here. The apartments speak for themselves, take a tour. But the real selling point is the community. Aileen, Anna, and Samantha do a great job organizing different community events (parties, pumpkin painting for the kids, food trucks every couple of weeks). The pool in the summer is awesome. No place with this many people is perfect. Rent control or longer leases would obviously be welcome. But all things considered, definitely would recommend

Aileen, Anna, Samantha and Sam are all like family. They assist with any issues I have or any help I need with the apartment. They make referrals to local businesses. The community of families that live here are all very friendly. Best of all they are very dog friendly. Pixie and Sweetie give a 5 star review also!

Living at Oakes Pond has been such a great experience. My dog loves spending time with Anna and Samantha in the clubhouse. It truly feels like home :)

I think we are getting out of here at the right time. The place is quickly devolving, and is no longer worth the rent. The new property manager has let this place descend into the abyss. They’ve always had parties in the clubhouse, and until this year, they’ve been nice, and respectable. Since the new manager came over they have become loud, out of control, and obnoxious with guests smoking weed (supposed to be a smoke free facility) and drinking outside on the sidewalks. Guests of the parties also let their young children invade the gym downstairs and run amok. The people having these parties here don’t even live here, they are seemingly getting residents who do live here to book the parties for them, I guess this is allowed, but seems to be a recipe for disaster. The pool is disgusting
