Oak Valley Senior Apartments

Am a senior tenant here at Oak Valley. I've been here since April. Although I procrastinated. I'm here. It was a process with the application and the building ongoing inspections. Thanks to Brenda my final process was remarkable. Sometimes our delays is God plan for patience to receive a blessing. Although I have some negative and positive views but overall am satisfied. Being in your own space is what matters most in your latter years. The grounds are well kept and parking secure lights and within all the other amenities. My issues was fixed when asked. I believe if there's any ongoing problems they'll be resolved. Realistically we have a lot compared to price range and other residential areas. Am just bless to be here.

I thought about applying for a unit here however received a change of heart after management made me feel like the only visitors I could have would have to be family I have many friends my family don't live in Marion County or visit often living on this property would leave me alone, bitter and lonely. Good luck too the people with what it takes to make it in a unit there.

My parents applied to this place in November of 2021, I served as a cosigner for them. They were told it would be finished in December or January. I have about 100 emails of communications back and forth with extra information required with the community manager of that moment, in January she stopped replying to my messages (left). In March the District Manager sends me another email saying that the opening day was targeted for April of 2022 and that I have to resubmit every single document again. We had to guarantee that their income would not chance for the next 6-12 months, I told them that now my parents were about to look for a job and we could not know what income they would have in the next months. I started out with Erin who was most helpful with the application and acceptance and even gave me my apartment number. However, I understand she is no longer with the company and an equally professional lady, Brenda, is not the Manager. I have not spoken with her nor do I wish to contact the office since she must be very busy before move in. Today is March 18th but I have not received word as to the date for occupancy, has anyone an update? I assume it will be prior to April 01. I have been extremely pleased with the process of getting accepted into Oak Valley and look forward to moving in this coming month. I am also excited to learn we will have a Pickleball court too ! The regional manager, Brenda, is a true professional in this business and I am glad to know she will be here for us as we prepare to get set up in our new facility !!
