Oak Park Village Apartments

Rating this a five star because my husband and I love living here! We moved from California to Oregon and Oregon has been so good to us. Living in these Oak Park apartments personally I feel like they are clean and maintained well. Also I have a 8 year old son and there are many kids around here which he loves as well. Oak park village apartments seem to be more family friendly oriented so if you have a family with kids and are friendly I would say this would be a good place for you. Everyone is nice. I’ve communicated with Samantha the property manager on multiple occasions and she has been attentive. I just signed my second lease.

I grew up in this place had multiple managers but only 1 was the worst she promised the kids saying they will add swings slides etc. if they cleaned up the whole apartment complex the kids did but she never kept her promise. You might think why I still gave it 5 stars well it’s because if had some many good memories living there hanging out with my friends near the car wash eating blackberries in this secret hide out play games near the dumpsters by the park and hang out in the entrance with the trees and sometimes sneak in and fool around in the laundromat

The recent manager is rude and does not attend to tenant needs. Another tenant who lives in the apartments along with the manager and the managers boyfriend, I have seen drinking alcohol at the “smokers area” myself and other Tenants have seen it. I have made friends with some of the tenants who live here , and their apartment is literally falling apart as well. But they won’t accommodate to repairs. They only suggest “maintenance request” but gets “lost” or is told they have to pay for specific repairs. So many managers have come and go. And 2 of the previous managers have told us it was due to Crystals bullying. Someone needs to do something about this! It’s been going on for too long. Princeton is greedy and only care about the money!! I will never rent under Princeton management aga

Would give this place less than 1 star if possible. I have outstanding rental history elsewhere, and it was the previous manager that made me comfortable moving here. Her name was Vanessa, and she was the sweetest. The new manager there is awfully rude at times. Please be careful with your deposit! They kept all my money. It’s weird considering the fact that I’ve always taken care of the places I resided in and received my full deposit back at the previous apartments I resided in. I learned from this experience and will be more careful with where I live in the future. I was more careful after I left that terrible place and had a wonderful experience at the place I moved in after that. Management makes a huge difference in your experience !

Terrible manager works there. She's never in the office, her boyfriend(black guy, no offense) is the tow truck driver. He hangs out with her while waiting until the free parking time is up then comes out and starts towing everybody, I've personally seen it. He does it mostly every single day. Hope his tow truck employer finds out he just sits there all day and does nothing. Highly don't recommend living or parking here. Parents also don't watch their kids, tons of kids running around playing with balls, touching and hitting everybodys cars. Very disappointing.
