We lived at Oak Meadows for six years and truly had a wonderful experience overall. Management was consistently welcoming and accommodating—Eric and the team genuinely made us feel cared for. The community events throughout the year, like the resident appreciation party, seasonal egg and rock hunts, and summer ice cream in the office were so much fun for our family. Maintenance was outstanding—always quick to respond and thorough in their work. The property itself is great for families, with spacious grassy areas, a playground, and a pool that our kids loved. I would absolutely recommend Oak Meadows to others, with one caveat: be prepared for steep move-out costs. My application was denied due to a single past hardship on an auto loan related to surviving the 2018 Camp Fire. I have consistently paid rent on time, have strong rental history, and currently pay rent higher than this property’s highest-priced unit. The screening criteria appear to allow no discretion for documented hardship circumstances, and a co-signer was also not accepted. Applicants should be aware that the approval process is highly rigid and leaves little room for human judgment.

Took my elderly mother in law a disabled Veteran to find an apt, and out of all the apts we visited on this side of town this place was the most well kept property and wonderful amenities they offered. Also the staff was very profesional, kind, the property manager assisted us through the whole application process with such patience , and understanding!! Amazing place looking forward to bringing my children to see their grandma often !!

Oak Meadow gives me gratitude and calm. I've moved @40 times over 50 years. Here is: prompt, and personal responsiveness and follow-up. Here is attentiveness to systematic maintenance. Here is a cluster of apartment dwellers who practice consideration for one another. Oak Meadow fosters a family approach. A great environment of all ages.

I have lived at Oak Meadow for over a year and I am looking forward to living here until I am ready for a house. I have lived in a few different complexes in Chico and Oak Meadow is definitely one of the better ones. When there are issues in my unit, the office responds the same day to confirm a time for the repair men to come fix the issue. The campus is always clean and well groomed. And all of the office staff and repair men are so nice and friendly. The unit itself does have some outdated appliances but overall it’s a great apartment, I love the layout, it’s easy to keep clean and the windows let in great light. Lastly the neighbors here are amazing, everyone is so kind and friendly. It truly feels like a neighborhood. I have not experienced any noise issues or obnoxious neighbors.
