Oak Hollow

This year has been the most difficult and challenging experience I’ve had with Oak Hollow in the five years I’ve lived here. Issues have arisen across multiple areas, including leasing, maintenance, and interactions with the community manager. Unfortunately, concerns regarding her conduct and combative behavior have been repeatedly raised, but they appear to have been dismissed by her supervisors without action, and residents feel dismissed and unheard. The level of retaliation and unprofessional behavior has been concerning, and many residents feel increasingly frustrated and unheard. There seems to be a lack of accountability, with responsibility often deflected rather than addressed. I would like to know how ownership views these issues and whether they are aware of how residents are

***BEWARE****I don't want to give them any stars how the way they treat tenants....just because they offer reasonable rates does not give them the right to perform in such an unprofessional manner. Just like the previous reviews they do not make timely repairs, rarely is there someone in the office. We constantly have to open our place of peace for 2 to 3 bogus inspection a month. Calling the corporate office in OH is a complete waste of time as they are rude as well. They can make mistakes and the tenants suffer from it...my rent was misplaced 3 times and I was given a 3 day eviction notice each time and was rudely told to pay on time of which I did. Hoards applications for an available apartment, then puts on waitlist without any notification. I was moving from Colorado and blindly looking for a place to live in South Carolina. I was so thrilled when I found this place! My phone calls went ignored by the complex and corporate, but I applied anyway as to not lose the chance to get the apartment. Many follow up calls were placed with the Oak Hollow property and also their corporate office, and all went ignored until I left one very frustrated message with corporate. They informed me there is not a property manager at that location is why my calls were not returned by them. They offered no reason for ignoring my messages themselves. I have lived here now over a year and what looks to be amazing on the outside are trash on the inside! Anytime it rains my 2 back bedrooms get soaked I’ve reported this incident since last year when I first noticed. When I first did my walk thru of the property I told her that the bottom of the refrigerator was missing the shelf for which the maintenance guy told me himself that it was sitting in his shed on the desk and he would bring it. A year and a half later I still don’t have it. Multiple maintenance request put in and months and now a year has passed and still no resolution but every month they expect my rent on time. These living conditions are ridiculous but they don’t care because they sleep comfortably every night knowing all they have to do is the bare minimum to these places.

Mrs. Carter has always been great with responding in fast timely manner and was so great to work with during the application and move in process. Haven't been here that long, but I have had a pleasant experience so far. Thanks :)
