The overall experience of living in Oak Creek is great. I like the sunlight in the living room, and I like the trees surrounding the room. However, I am not a big fan of the policy of shopping package delivery. Now it is required to receive packages via a parcel station instead of within the building. Especially for large packages such as a sofa, it became a challenge for me to move it into my building. Thus, I really hope my packages can be delivered directly to my building. Since it is a tradeoff between safety and efficiency, I hope residents can choose the desired delivery strategy for each shopping trip.

Oak Creek is a great place, but the new parcel station has been one of the most frustrating changes. Instead of making things easier, every delivery now turns into a 15 to 20-minute trip to the parcel station. One-day shipping becomes pointless because the time it takes to actually receive the package cancels out any benefit. The parcel station setup encourages some delivery drivers to drop off their packages there instead of delivering them to my door, making their deliveries easier at our expense. The night shift makes things worse. They are security guards, and I'm sure this task was not in their job description. Sometimes, they spend maybe thirty seconds looking at the mountain of boxes before telling me to come back in the morning when the day shift arrives. I honestly do not blame

Overall I like living here, but there are three big flaws: 1) Our whole building has 3 washers and 2 dryers to service several hundred people, making it almost impossible to do laundry. 2) Packages no longer get delivered to our door but to a parcel station. It is extremely inconvenient, especially for time- or temperature-sensitive items, or heavy packages, and it often takes them over a week for them to process the packages. 3) There needs to be a lot more easily accessible outdoor bike parking. These are all things that the Oak Creek management could fix, which would make this a truly awesome place to live!

The staff at the club house have been horrible in their attitude and behavior. I’m used to the best from prior oak creek staff The package collection is not a good experience. Let’s go back to delivering directly to us. Willow room yoga and Zumba is a better option. Please have one Saturday a month at the park with few tables for people to sell or give away their stuff. We need a camera looking at at the entrance of all buildings. Someone stole my overseas mail left outside the building door. But thanks for everything else

If you are considering living at Oak Creek, please be aware of the ongoing issues with their parcel system. Management has removed call box access and eliminated direct-to-apartment delivery altogether. Residents are now required to retrieve every package from an overcrowded parcel room with restricted pickup hours. During the holiday season, the space becomes unsafe, disorganized, and extremely overwhelming. After submitting multiple concerns, management made it clear they will not reconsider their decision. Instead of providing real solutions, they insist the system is for “safety,” even though the current setup is the least safe or efficient method imaginable. This has become a serious inconvenience and accessibility issue for many residents. It’s disappointing to see such expensive h
