Novus on Cobb Apartments

Hello Novus On Cobb. Me and my family have been living in these apartments for I would say 15 years or so. We have black mold growing in the corner of our roofs from our bedrooms and bathrooms. My family has also been recently coughing a lot and experiencing unexplained lung problems. We can’t do anything about the mold! We still have carpet and the old designs and would want to move out to a different apartment within the same complex. But we currently don’t have the money and we are struggling financially. Drove past the property the other day and stopped in for a tour . I toured with Miss Yolanda. She was really nice. Novus might be my next home. Very nice property

I rarely leave reviews but this one was deff called for and want to warn anyone moving here to take heed to my message and look somewhere else . I’ve lived in apartment complex’s and this one by far has been the worst experience. Since moving here there has been numerous issues . I’ll start with the most important, RATS ! I had a rat come into my apartment and leave rat droppings . Mind you at night could hear the rat running around thru vents all night and even nibbled on belongings and even the carpet and door to get into a room . When I went to front office to talk to Yolanda , she had no sense of urgency or emotion towards the issue . Mind you I have family and kids who come and live here it’s extremely inhabitable and disturbing . Maintance came by after having to stop a working while

I was hesitant at first after reading some of the reviews, but I decided to move forward since they were willing to work with my low credit. I had the pleasure of working with Darrion, and he turned out to be one of the best leasing agents I’ve ever met. He was polite, straightforward, and genuinely listened to my situation. I could tell he truly did his best to help me, and that made all the difference.

I was really trying to give this property the benefit of doubt but I just have to let people know this before they decide to move here. I moved out June 22. I received an email from them on June 25th with the refund amount from our deposit so I'm thinking we would receive the refund in 2 weeks max. I get the same email on July 11th. So I responded and informed them that we already received the same email and should have received the payment by now. The respond was as follows: We apologize for the delay , the refund was sent out today. I am unsure the cause of the delay, if you do not receive it by Friday of next week please feel free let me know an I will follow up with upper management. I sent a follow email on July 24th informing them that we still have not received the refund and was
