Nova Title

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Nova Title. Communication was consistently poor, information was withheld, and I was often left chasing updates that should have been proactively shared. The team appeared disorganized and inefficient, making duplicate requests for documents that had already been provided multiple times. More concerning was the clear lack of knowledge around basic aspects of the transaction, which I expected a title company to handle confidently. On top of that, interactions often came across as horribly condescending rather than helpful, which made the experience even more unpleasant. We worked with another title company after hearing stories about NOVA Title. Their fees were high and we found the other title company was more competitive even after NOVA's $2000 "credit" was factored in. We used Kensington Vanguard and had a wonderful experience. NOVA still found ways to make it unpleasant up to the last second even as the simple receiver of funds from our title company! Shocked how hard they can make such a simple transaction!

NOVA Title Company is the worse title company, and they hire unprofessional closers. I never had any issue with any title company in my last 17 years as a Realtor. No communication, no HUD statement to us after the closing for 48 hours. I requested the statement from Jacqeline Domino my buyer closer for GL home, she sent my request to Saribel Maldonado and no response from both. If I can give them less than 1 star I will. Update News I just received the documents on Auguste 3rd after 4 days from the closing. I Never have that before .

Buying a house from GL Homes and Nova title was designated by GL to be their title company. Well, it’s a shame. Very poor customer service, they don’t return e-mails, or calls. Look for another company if you can.

It is painful to give Nova Title a one star! Nova Title Company, specifically Jacqueline Domino, was 100% unprofessional, from the way she answered our phone calls to the way she continuously interrupted explanations or questions; she delivered nothing but inefficient and discourteous results. I cannot say with confidence that her responses are true Nova Title practices and rules, everything felt as she was making things up to give us a hard time. I am a real estate agent practicing real estate since 2013 and I've never experienced, with any of my clients purchasing new construction, the situations we experienced with her. It seems like GL Homes/GL Financial are Nova Title's ONLY clients or otherwise she would not behave this way. The lender experienced the same treatment from her as well
